The flower's  stem and leaves cover the space between the flowers. \n\nThis Vintage Bakelite bracelet is in good condition and its authenticity was confirmed using the hot water test. Testing using Simichrome polish on true black Bakelite often yields inconclusive results. (See photo #10) When that occurs, (as it did here) I resort to the default hot water test. After dipping the bracelet into hot water for a couple of seconds, the bracelet gave off the unmistakable chemical odor associated with genuine Bakelite.  \n\nThere is one condition issue to note: there is a repaired crack to the bracelet that is pictured in photo #7. The repair was well done and the bracelet is solid.
