This very rare, super cute, oversized shark brooch was made by the renown Bakelite artist Ron Shultz. The piece is signed by Shultz and his signature shown in photo #11.
The brooch is a laminated piece that combines multiple solid and marbled Bakelite sections together that were then laminated to flat pink, green and yellow sections that form the back of the brooch.
The brooch measures 6 1/8" x 2 3/4" and weighs 49 grams.
The roll over "c" clasp is original to the piece and is in great working order staying closed when worn.
Shultz's signature is shown in photo #11 just above the yellow shark fin.
