Offered for sale is this very cool abstract carved Bakelite bracelet!!
The bracelet is 3/4" wide, with a 3/8" thick dome. It is a beautiful shade of semi translucent orange with faint cream colored marbling. It is difficult to see the marbling unless a strong light is shown through the bangle. (See photo #5) The bracelet has a 2.5" interior diameter and weighs 41 grams.
The bracelet has been decorated with four equally spaced abstract flower and leaf inspired carvings that circle the exterior of the bracelet.
This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent vintage condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks to the bracelet
were noted.
