Offered for sale is this very cool Bakelite bracelet from the 1940's. The bracelet is a rich chocolate brown color and has a unique silvertone buckle clasp.
The bracelet is 5/8" wide with a ovaloid shape and weighs 31 grams. The inside of the bracelet measures 2 1/4" from side to side and 2 1/8" from top to bottom. Photo #7 shows the unique clasp for this bracelet that uses a carved notch and the silvertone buckle to open and close the bracelet. The clasp works like new and the bracelet stays securely closed when being worn.
This bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Positive test for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10)
