Offered for sale is this very cool pair of vintage Bakelite reverse carved earrings! They are 7/8" in diameter and have screw back clasps that are in excellent working condition and keep the earrings in place when being worn. They weigh 3 grams each.
The earrings are a half sphere shape and lovely dichromatic gold color. Each earring has been decorated with a lovely flower and leaf design. The reverse carved design was then hand painted. The paint is in great shape with no chipping or flaking.
No chips, cracks or occlusions were noted. Positive test for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #5)
