This gorgeous vintage Bakelite leaf inspired brooch measures 3.25" x 1" and weighs 19 grams.
The brooch is a dichromatic golden prystal color that has been decorated with two ruby red cabochons that are surrounded with small rhinestones. The brooch has a leaf inspired design with open work carving to show off the lovely colors of this brooch. Depending on the angle the brooch is held to the light, it will change from its gold color to a light lime green color.
The brooch has its original rollover "c" type clasp that works like new and stays closed when the brooch is being worn.
No chips, cracks or other occlusions were seen and the brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10)
