This beautifully "overdyed" Bakelite bracelet has a 1/2" wide "tube" shape and weighs 28 grams. It has the normal inside diameter of 2.5" . The bracelet is a solid butterscotch color that the artist applied a brown overdye/resin wash to before creating the flower and vertical slash carvings to create its unique carved design.
There are two large flower inspired designs on opposing sides of the bracelet. Deep vertical slash carvings are found on both sides giving the bracelet a cool Tiki feel.
This Vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were noted and the overdye is in great shape with very little signs of wear.
