Offered for sale is this beautiful 1" vintage Bakelite bracelet with a slice cut shape! The bracelet is a solid semi translucent mahogany color. Using a bright light to illuminate the inside edge of the bracelet, it looks like the bracelet was originally a translucent red color whose patina has darkened to its current mahogany color as the patina has aged. (See photo #5)
The bracelet has been decorated with a four lovely large abstract flower carvings that are equally spaced around the outside of the bracelet. It has a 2.5" interior diameter and weighs 27 grams.
This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks in the bracelet were noted.
