Offered for sale is this very cool Art Deco Era carved Bakelite bracelet!!
The bracelet is 1" wide butterscotch color with a domed shape that the artist has created a unique raised center section by carving a groove along each edge of the bracelet.
Three abstract "bullseye" flowers were added to the raised section of the bracelet that are flanked by curved etched leaf designs. It looks like a black overdye was added to the carved leaf designs to create contrast with the butterscotch color of the bracelet.
The carvings are beautifully done and create a really cool, unique Art Deco Era bangle!!
The bracelet has a 2.5" interior diameter; and weighs 26 grams.
This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent vintage condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks to the bracelet were noted.
