This vintage Bakelite necklace was constructed by stringing each 1/2" paprika colored bead with two fine goldtone chains for extra strength and durability. (See photo #9)
Measuring 23 inches in length, it is the perfect length to wear with a variety of necklines. The beaded style gives it a unique and timeless charm, making it a great addition to any vintage or antique jewelry collection.
Seven jet black oval pendants with marbled red and black flowers were laminated to each pendant to complete this fabulous Bakelite necklace! The necklace weighs 107 grams.
The necklace has a spring loaded circle type clasp (See photos #5 & 7) that works perfectly and stays closed when the necklace is being worn. The necklace and pendants tested positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #13)
