Offered for sale is this lovely vintage Bakelite bracelet! The bracelet is a solid semi translucent butterscotch color that has four equally spaced flower inspired carvings separated by lovely branch and leaf carved designs.
The bracelet is 5/8" wide dome shaped bangle with a 2.5" interior diameter. The bracelet weighs 24 grams.
The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The bracelet tested positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10)
It looks like the maker or perhaps a past owner applied paint or a resin wash to the center of the flower carvings in order to create some contrast and to make the flower stand out from the other carved designs.
