Up for sale is this cool vintage carved Bakelite bracelet! The bracelet is a 7/8" wide with an unusual slightly concave shape. The bracelet is a solid cherry red color that has a 2.5" interior diameter and weighs 27 grams.
The artist created its concave shape by carving thin vertical slash carvings down the center of the bracelet. The carvings are narrowly spaced and inspired by gear carvings popular during the Machine Age design era.
This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent vintage condition and it's authenticity as Bakelite was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were noted in the bracelet.
