Vintage Goldenrod Bakelite Brooch: Teardrop Shape w/ Flower & Leaf Carving!

This lovely vintage Bakelite brooch is a solid goldenrod color with  elongated "teardrop" shape with beautifully carved deep flower and leaf designs! Note the cool overlapping leaf designs that begin just below the flower and travel down the length of the brooch!  

The brooch has its original rollover "c" style clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.

It measures 4" x 5/8" at its widest point and 1/4" at the tip. The brooch is approximately 3/16" thick and weighs 8 grams.

The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #11) No chips or cracks were seen.
